He should have a keen interest in baking and understand the basic equipment used for Baking and Patisserie. - To provide assistance to the dessert chef for timely preparation of all the desserts with finesse. - Carefully storing the prepared desserts and leftovers under appropriate storage conditions. - Prepare in advance any texture or sauce component that have a longer shelf life - Occasionally takes on extra duties, such as mopping floors, washing utensils in case of shortage of labor. - To undertake training to learn new recipes as instructed by the Chef. Also to assist the Chef in developing new recipes to be added to the menu.
